These Cyber Monday deals on streaming devices are the cord-cutting excuse you've been looking for

Unless you have some sort of Stockholm Syndrome, there’s no reason to still be subscribing to cable, when all the streaming devices available to you are cheaper, easier to use, and have way more options.

With Cyber Monday deals on streaming devices, there’s no reason to wait any longer. It’s time to cut the cord on cable and see everything the world of streaming has to offer. (P.S. these make great gifts for tech-challenged relatives.)

The new Roku Streaming Stick+ plugs in via HDMI and has full 4K and UHD capabilities so you can use it with your fancy new TVs. It’s on sale at Walmart now for $48 (list price is $69.99) and comes with a free month of DirectTV Now and Showtime to ease you out of cable.

Amazon’s Fire TV Stick is one more device in Alexa’s arsenal. With access to tens of thousands of apps and a voice-controlled remote, you’ll bring your entertainment system into the 21st Century, all for only $25. You can also bundle the Fire Stick with an Echo Dot for even more smart home savings.

Of course Google had to get in on the streaming device beat too. The Chromecast Ultra has access to thousands of entertainment apps, but can also easily mirror your computer or smartphone screen and is compatible with Google Assistant. It’s on sale for $54 at Best Buy today, down from $69.99.
